Enquiries and customer information
If you contact us about plumbing or heating work, we receive the details you provide, which may include your name, contact details, property location, requirements and photographs. We use this information to respond, assess the proposed work, prepare quotations and arrange agreed services. Please only provide information relevant to your enquiry.
Reasons for processing
Responding to a request for a quotation and arranging a contract rely on taking steps at your request before a contract. Delivering agreed services relies on performance of that contract. Keeping records required by law relies on legal obligations. Managing ordinary business correspondence and protecting our rights may rely on legitimate interests, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations.
Website hosting and statistics
The website is hosted by WordPress.com, operated by Automattic. WordPress supplies built-in Jetpack statistics, showing aggregate visitor information to the site owner. WordPress has confirmed that its default visitor statistics do not set tracking cookies. Aggregate reports do not mean no personal information is processed: Automattic may receive IP addresses, browser details, referring pages, visited pages and access times to deliver and operate its services.

Who may receive information
Relevant information may be handled by our business partners and providers needed to respond to your request or deliver agreed work. WordPress.com/Automattic handles website hosting and platform data. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.
International processing
Automattic operates internationally, so website information may be processed outside Ireland or the EEA. Its privacy policy describes applicable international-transfer arrangements and safeguards. Contact us for information about recipients relevant to your own enquiry or project.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting work. Retention also takes account of whether an enquiry remains active, contractual or warranty responsibilities, applicable record-keeping obligations and the need to resolve disputes. Information should be deleted or anonymised when no longer required. Automattic applies its own platform retention arrangements, described in its visitor privacy notice.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions. Where consent is used, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above.
